Neat.
Also, your post this morning reminded me of a derelict rusty Stratochief sitting by the highway in Wadena. You should definitely take on more projects.

If I had a farm I’d be even more car-rich. And have tailfins on my tractor.

The episodes feature great shrinker/stretcher work or stainless repair, or hammer and dolly work, or a plethora of other wrenching/body work between the shenanigans of drunk Canadians and a poodle.

I’m in. the garage I hang out in watches DD speedshop and Vice grip garage. W e’ll add coldwar to the list. ViceGrip is out of M innesota, so practically Canadian and DD is out of Winnipeg so practically M innesotan.

This increases my want for a shinker, attempting to do that with just a hammer is next to impossible

If princess auto has them, Harbor Freight does. all the same stuff. I learned on a Eastwood version, these cheapies work better.

The Dash-doorhandle-and-bondo we need, not the David Tracy we do disservice to.

Soon I’ll sp lash out on an English wheel, drill press, and shri nker. That's sort of waiting for a job that has metalwork im not covering up

I’ve been meaning to pick up a cheap shrinker/stretcher set, probably will be necessary come winter when I finish the bodywork on the Chevelle by doing the rear wheel openings; I have a bad feeling that whoever bondo’ed over the rust on the front end also reconstructed the doglegs therefrom, and you can’t just get quarter skins for a 4-door.

I’ve got an english wheel, a small one you could make a motorcycle fender with. Bought it and made a little tin sign into a little fender then hung from the garage roof and forgot about it. I can fix a nasty old dodge just fine, but fabbing up compo und curves and english wheels are above my skillset. Applied violence also gets it done, just go bigg er than you need and trim up before welding it in. But I’d love to be able to do it the scientific way.

Let me tell you about my lord and redeemer Bondo Dynatron Corporation.
( I don’t actually use Bondo, but all filler is “bondo”)
